REYNOLDS GARAGE & MARINE Names LYSB as Beneficiary of NADA Ambassador Grant

The Reynolds family of Reynolds’ Garage and Marine Inc., Ambassadors of Distinction for the National Automobile Dealers Association, recently presented a check for $2,000 to Mary Seidner, Director of Lymes’ Youth Service Bureau for their counseling services available to youth in Lyme and Old Lyme. The Reynolds family business began in 1859 creating custom horse drawn carriages for the Lyme community. As the community has fostered and allowed the business to grow into the automobile and marine business that it is today, Gary Reynolds (President and part of the fifth generation of Reynolds to be involved in the business) decided to give back through the NADA Ambassador program.

As Ambassadors of Distinction, the Reynolds family is allowed to select a grant recipient annually in perpetuity. The grant recipient must provide financial support for educational services or emergency medical services. Previous recipients include the Middlesex Hospital Emergency Medical fund, the Gray Foundation: keeping dancers dreams alive, The Lyme Ambulance Association, and the Lyme Old Lyme Education Foundation.

Reynolds’ Garage and Marine Inc. is located on scenic Hamburg Cove in Lyme and currently sells and services new Subarus and used automobiles and new and used boats with a marina for storage and dockage of boats. The business has been family owned and operated from the beginning, celebrating 153 years in business this year! For more information on the Reynolds family please visit their websites, www.Reynoldsboats.com and www.ReynoldsSubaru.com.

The LYSB counseling staff provides counseling services to children and adolescents in Lyme and Old Lyme. Fees are charged on a sliding scale. Please call and speak to our staff at any time with questions or concerns. All inquiries are confidential. 434-7208 x205
