IT’S THEATRE TIME
Tuesdays, June 18 to July 9, 10:00-10:30 a.m., 4 weeks, $20
Ages 3-6 years 
Judy Potter will enchant this group with a story, guitar music, and songs.  Children will be encouraged to act out the story they have just heard.  Audience participation, pretend play, and music make this a very special interactive group for you and your child.

WANDERING AND WONDERING
Six family events to explore our beautiful region.  Register for one or all six!
June 11 to July 16, 4:00 p.m., Free  
Each week families will meet up at a different park or preserve for a short, low impact hike through a variety of habitats. Your guide, Sarah, will bring her vast knowledge of field biology to supplement your experience. We can all get to know the beautiful places we call home by stopping, looking, and wondering. Many of the sites have additional trails, supplemental activities and picnic areas available for those wishing to spend some extra time out in nature with their families. Please bring your own water bottle and bug spray. Rain dates for these hikes will be the following Thursday with exception of 7/18.

Need a break from the summer sun? Join us Wednesdays mornings for a relaxed arts & crafty morning. Each week there will be sensory play and a child-led craft based on the theme of the week. We will also make time for free play.

Get on those bathing suits and join us out behind Mimi’s Place for some water fun and playground play. We will have water stations for the kids to explore, music playing, and time to burn some energy. Leave dinner to us to finish off the evening.

The Waterford Country School will join us at LYSB with their Mobile Farm offering some hands on fun while children observe, learn, and touch around 8-10 animals.  Stay, play, and picnic after the farm visit. Bring your own bagged lunch.

ROCKIN’ WITH PETE THE CAT FAMILY CONCERT

at Old Lyme Town Hall, 52 Lyme Street 
Al Decant, known as the “Singing Principal” will treat us to a spirited performance packed with toe tapping music, great stories, and heaps of audience participation that celebrate the reading experience for children of all ages. A special appearance by Pete the Cat will also be included.  This program is free but please register. Space is limited.

INFANT & BABY MASSAGE

Ages newborn and up to pre-crawling.
Learn to massage your baby with the help of our IAIM Certified Infant Massage Instructor. The strokes and of massage are easier to grasp when demonstrated by experienced instructors. Pressure, rate, rhythm, the length of the massage, respect, and bonding, why babies cry, baby’s body language, relaxation, and parent empowerment are some of the skills and topics you will learn.

STROLLER STRIDES
Meet moms looking to exercise in a fun environment with their babies in tow. This group is for moms interested in the total body fitness classes offered by Stroller Strides. Taught by nationally certified fitness instructors specializing in pre and postnatal fitness all class are designed to be challenging for all fitness levels. Any level of exerciser is encouraged to join – Pregnant, newly pregnant and post-partum. Join us! Your first class is free!
