Volunteer As A Family Day

Sunday, October 24th

Performing community service together strengthens family bonds, while giving back to your community in a meaningful and fun way.  Show your family how important it is to think of others.  LYSB will coordinate a day full of activities for families of all ages and sizes including cooking for the needy, Halloween baskets, the Crop Walk for Hunger, and several more.  Full details coming soon.

 

Halloween Bash!

Sunday, October 31, 2010 5:00-6:30 PM at LYSB

The LYSB town-wide Halloween Bash is a fun family event that includes games, crafts, and more.  This free event is appropriate for children ages 12 months through 2nd grade.  All little “goblins” must be accompanied by an adult.  Come dressed in costume!  The COSTUME PARADE will leave the Firehouse on Lyme Street at 6:30 PM to march down Lyme Street behind a fire truck!

 

Holiday Parties

LYSB's annual fundraiser that brings neighbors together.  Our committee is looking now for hosts and volunteers.  If you would like to volunteer of if you wish to add your name to our invitation list, please call us!  434-7208.

 

Gingerbread Family Workshop

Sunday, December 12, 1-4:30 p.m. 

An LYSB tradition. Your family will make your own Gingerbread House to take home. Leave the mess with us! We supply all the ingredients.  $10/family.  Pre-register by calling 434-7208.

 

1-2-3 Magic:  Effective Discipline for Parents

Or, if you sense there is trouble, there are times when you must take charge.  This workshop will give parents a step-by-step approach that will help end the hassles and offer concrete solutions.  In the Surviving Your Adolescents workshop, you will learn:
